Albert Chan is a New Zealand fine artist based in Melbourne, Australia, who commissioned me to develop a folio website and document a range of paintings via photography.
Albert's work examines a range of pop cultural icons and recasts those across media that reflects popular culture, including Perspex, acrylic and the textural qualities of wooden skateboards. I worked with Albert to develop a site that can serve multiple purposes, to serve as catalogue and folio, represent his images to the public and as a record of his work and process. The site is a folio site capable of being maintained and updated by the artist, providing continual value to Albert.
